Birch: Birch is light in color. Characteristic is its subtle, spotted side. Swedisch design look. My personal favorite hardwood to build furniture.
Cedar: Light brown in color and light in weight. Fantastic smell.
Ash: Is usually light in color but can also show many shades.
Azobe: Very dark red/purplisch brown, perfect for outside.

Soundwood
The standard design is around 32 pieces of wood. Each piece is between 10mm - 17mm thick.
Width is max 42cm and hight is a max of 55cm, this varies and depends on the style you have choosen.
If you have a bigger wall where you are going to hang up your Soundwood you might consider to add some bars.
